I have a client interested in the tucker valance for a rod 100 inches long. Is the tucker valance separate triangular sections? For example if you need three valance sections to cover the rod, do any of the sections get sewn together or do they simply wrap over the pole?
Thank you.

They are separate and simply wrap over the pole. Nothing gets sewn together.
Those that are new to our patterns, you can print out the yardage page off our website. The top of the page explains the design and tells the size range, if alterations are included, etc. There is a lot of information there that may help.

Would it be possible to board-mount the Tucker valance sections instead of using a rod?

The valance section is one long rectangle with the point at each end. It wraps over the pole, hanging longer at the back. The pole gives a separation between the front layer and back layer. The contrast lining is showing on the back layer. You could fold in half and attach to the board, you wouldn't get the separation. Make sure non of the board shows between the sections.
